Angora Alibi by Sally Goldenbaum

You guys know how I love a good mystery and how I love my yarn arts and combining the two creates my new favorite genre of books. The newest series I started reading is A Seaside Mystery from Sally Goldenbaum. I have just finished the last delicious page of Angora Alibi which is the seventh part in the series.

A friend of Izzy's distant relative, Justin, dies when he is scuba diving  and soon every one in the Seaside Knitters Club discovers that Justin was murdered and then another local man that lives along the shore, Horace is murdered. They wonder if they could be connected and just what kind of person could be in their town. Izzy Chambers Perry, who is a yarn shop owner, and her husband Sam are expecting their baby soon. She doesn't want to have her baby until things are put right. The Seaside Knitters are soon on the case and try to weave together the  pieces of the puzzle to discover who in their town is a murderer.

In this part, you are taken in immediately by the fabulous atmosphere and the charming characters. The story moves a long at a great pace and it's immediately obvious so it is fun to guess along with the characters about what happened.

One thing that was different that I really loved was that at the start of the book, there is a helpful list of all of the characters and who they were. That makes it really easy for anyone to pick up the series anywhere in the series without the author having to have the awkward recaps of who everyone is each time a new person walks in.

When you get ready to start your next mystery, you should consider A Seaside Mystery like Angora Alibi written by Sally Goldenbaum.

Take some time to browse the other great mysteries available from Berkley Prime Crime. While you are there, you can sign up for the newsletter so you never miss a new release. I must warn you though, after browsing my wish list is longer than I could probably read.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
