Loot Crate - January 2015

It's that special geeky time of the month again where looters everywhere stalk their mailbox in anticipation. For any newcomers, or generally forgetful people, Loot Crate is quite possibly the most awesome subscription box out there. For only $13.37 (Get it? Haha!) a month, you can get one of these epic boxes for yourself. This month's theme is Rewind. That means that this month was are travelling back in time and remembering all of the awesome stuff that led to today's awesome stuff.

I know I have said it a million times, but I love Star Wars. Anything and everything to do with Star Wars just makes me happy. I was so excited to see a Star Wars Comic, Issue 001, by Marvel included this month. What's better? Loot Crate is involved. It was a great read! The 8-Bit Glasses are, quite possibly, one of the best Loot Crate Exclusives thus far. They are not only super cute, but protect your eyes from harmful UV rays. What is better than looking cool while being protected? Nothing.

From Black Tie Geek was an awesome Space Invaders Retro Arcade Skinny Tie. This tie is awesome and perfect for when us geeks need to get dressed up but still want our personalities to shine through. Not only does it come in a cute little box, it is well made and will last you through a lifetime of geeky, black-tie events... or even normal stuff like mall outings and classes.

Up next is a Comic Notebook by Unemployed Philosopher's Guild. This little book is awesome. Full of blank squares, the world in your mind can come alive on paper. In the back, there are even stencils for dialogue and sound effects. I can't wait to see what I come up with in my own little comic book. It should be a real adventure!

The last two things, though cool, are not something I am familiar with. There is a 10-Doh! Figure from Squid Kids Ink. I got the Korbin's Alley game, which I have never played. What I can say is, these little figures are absolutely adorable and would make an awesome addition to any collection. The last item is a Voltron shirt. I have never watched Voltron so, I don't have much to say about it, but I do like the shirt and it is super soft and comfy!

Loot Crate, as usual, was awesome this month! I know you are dying to have your own Loot Crates coming to your door so remember: All you have to do is sign up and for $13.37 you can have your very own. Sign up today though because boxes are limited and with stuff this epic, demand is high.

You can also stay up to date with fun extras and specials by following Loot Crate on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
