BoxyCharm - February 2015

It is that wonderful time of the month again where my BoxyCharm box arrives and I get to try out all sorts of awesome, new products! Just in case you forgot, BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on-trend brands. Best part? A BoxyCharm box has a low cost of only $21, plus free shipping! This month the theme is Kisses From BoxyCharm, which is just in time for Valentine's Day! Let's see what's inside!

Up first is a Modern Minerals Duo Fiber Mini Round Brush ($15). This is a great little brush for applying eye shadow and blending in your crease. I could also see it being great for highlighting your brow bone, nose and maybe even contouring your nose and applying concealer to small places around your eyes. It is super soft and picks up product great with no shedding. The second item is a ncLA Nail Lacquer in Heart Attack ($16). I have received nail polish from this brand before and loved them. This awesome top coat is no exception. I love the playfulness and I can see wearing this for multiple occasions like Valentines Day's and anniversaries.

The Mullein & Sparrow Mini Facial Mask ($15) was the next thing I pulled out. First off, can we please just enjoy this packaging for a second? How cute is that? This mask comes in powder form and contains detoxifying clays and aromatic herbs. It refines pores and gently exfoliates your face leaving behind clean, refreshed skin. I really like this mask. It doesn't break me out and leaves my skin feeling great. Plus, the powder form means I don't have to worry about it drying out! I also feel like it is more sanitary than other packaging options as well.

Next is the Jing Ai Velvet Shine Lip Jewel in Pink Star. It contains 100% natural macadamia seed oil, shea butter, and jojoba seed oil to moisturize your lips while providing highly pigmented, long lasting color. I absolutely love this color. It is a pinker, your-lips-but-better color that really looks great on my complexion. I love crayon style lip products because they are so easy to apply and carry with you throughout the day. This has pretty good staying power and even stains a little bit for even longer wear. It also provides a great, natural shine that isn't sticky.

The last item included was a Mistura Beauty Solutions C-2-P Complexion Corrector ($36.99). This is a cream to powder product with a really great texture and finish. It contains coconut oil and shea butter that moisturizes your skin while also providing a matte finish. The covering power can be pretty opaque, as you can see in my picture. It completely covered my veins up. Unfortunately, mine did arrive broken, but I love this so much that I will be potting it into another container so I can continue to use it!

As always, I loved my BoxyCharm box! With a retail value of $104.99, $21 is an amazing cost to pay!! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products. Be sure to head over to their site to sign up and see past boxes. Also, follow BoxyCharm on FacebookInstagram and Twitter to never miss any news or promotions!
