Ozeri Elite Chef Black Ceramic 3-Piece Knife Set and 3-Piece Adjustable Ceramic Knife Stand

You guys should know by now that I love me some Ozeri! Their products never let me down. They are high quality with a low price and usually have pretty good warranties. Plus, their customer service is awesome! The most recent products I got to try were the Elite Chef Black Ceramic 3-Piece Knife Set and 3-Piece Adjustable Ceramic Knife Stand. I have never owned ceramic knives before and I am really starting to wonder why!

The knives came carefully packaged in a foam insert that included little foam pieces to protect the blades. The three knives included are a 6" chef's knife, 5 slicing knife and 3' paring knife. These are super lightweight and fit in your hand perfectly. The grip is so comfortable! I love the sleek black look of these as well. I have used them to cut vegetables, fruit, and meat and they sliced through everything with ease! They are ceramic so I am pretty careful with them and wash them right after use and put them up. Doing this, I haven't noticed any chipping and the blades have stayed super sharp and smooth.

Unlike metal knives, ceramic ones do not rust, corrode, or leech metal ions into your foods. They also preserve their sharpness 10 times longer than traditional steel blades. It is said that the blades are close in hardness to diamonds, but I still treat them carefully just in case. I would so hate to break one of these awesome knives. The stand provides you with a safe place to store your knifes away from other kitchen utensils that might damage the blades. The stand is made of acrylic and has a black veneer finish. The rubberized feet also keep it in place on your counters. I love that you can arrange them straight in a row or stagger them. This allows you to be able to turn the stand longways against your wall if you are tight on counter space but still be able to reach your knives with ease. Plus, it is an awesome way to display these gorgeous knives.
