BoxyCharm - July 2015

It is that wonderful time of the month again where my BoxyCharm box arrives and I get to try out all sorts of awesome, new products! Just in case you forgot, BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on-trend brands. Best part? A BoxyCharm box has a low cost of only $21, plus free shipping! This month the theme is Summertime Radness so let's hop right in!

The first item up this month is the MDMflow Greater Than Mascara (£21, or about $32.76). This is in the color XXL Black and it is a super rich, dark black. This mascara is AWESOME. It has a standard applicator which lengthens and volumizes your lashes. It also has a special tube that doesn't allow air into it so it might be necessary to "prime" it before your first use. All you need to do it take the wand out, put it back in, shake the tube for 10 seconds and pump the wand a few times. After that, you are on your way to fabulous lashes!

The next item is the Gorge I'll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray ($29.95). You work this into damp hair and style as normal. This leaves your hair feeling so great and looking wonderfully shiny and smooth. Also, this smells divine! It has a sweet, almost tropical scent to it that leaves your hair lightly scented. The spray is the consistency of watered down conditioner and it doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy which some leave-in conditioners can do. I really like it.

Up next is the Vasanti Professional Blush Brush ($29). This is a nylon brush that is super soft and and has a lot of fibers but they aren't too dense, so you can get a diffused blush application. The ferrule is nice and secure and I haven't noticed any shedding during use or when washing it. This brush looks pretty sleek and works great. It's a total win.

An OFRA Cosmetics Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($13) was also included. This pencil applies smoothly and evenly. It also blends out very well. I was worried that it would be a little dark for me when I swatched it but once I applied and blended, it looked great. It matched me perfectly which is quite confusing considering that the swatch is dark. I may not understand how universal pencils work, but I am glad that they do! They take out the guess work!

The last item included was a yourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder ($26). This is a completely transparent and colorless powder that is great for setting your foundation. It doesn't leave you looking chalky but it does take away your shine while reducing the look of pores and fine lines. I was quite impressed by how much of a difference I noticed in my skin after using this!

As always, I loved my BoxyCharm box! With a retail value of $130.71, $21 is an amazing cost to pay!! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products. Be sure to head over to their site to sign up and see past boxes. Also, follow BoxyCharm on FacebookInstagram and Twitter to never miss any news or promotions!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
