Three Magical Mysteries

If you have even a remote interest in witchy things, you probably know about the power of three... well I have three powerfully witchy cozy mysteries to tell you about, that you will want to add to your reading stack right now!

Lets start with the a most delicious treat called, Magic and Macaroons, which is part five of the Magical Bakery Mystery Series by Bailey Cates. This one was hard to put down and featured an awesome main character, Katie. Plus after you have read the fun, well paced, mystery you will find delicious recipes in the back too.

Check out the excerpt from the back of the book: From the New York Times bestselling author of Some Enchanted Éclair comes a tale of delicious desserts and supernatural sleuthing…

For magical baker Katie Lightfoot, the only way to beat the Savannah summer heat is to whip up some cool treats for the Honeybee Bakery’s patrons. But when a meeting of the Spellbook Club is interrupted by a stranger collapsing on the floor of her shop, mumbling something about a voodoo talisman, Katie drops everything to begin investigating.

Her search for answers quickly leads her into a dangerous blend of Savannah’s infamous voodoo queens, a powerful missing charm—and a deadly witch who seems to be targeting the city’s magical community. And with the case getting hotter by the second, Katie will have to work fast to track down the talisman and the killer before the timer runs out…

Spellcasting in Silk is the seventh part in the Witchcraft Mystery series by Juliet Blackwell. This is a series that truly never disappoints. It is always a joy to visit with Lily and her friends. I love that Lily is not only not discouraged or warned against helping investigate but asked too. It gives this series a fresh angle If you haven't already read the whole series I suggest you start now!

Check out the excerpt from the back of the book: From the New York Times bestselling author of A Vision in Velvet comes more spooky sleuthing with Lily Ivory, vintage boutique owner and gifted witch…

Lily would like nothing better than to relax, enjoy her friends, and take care of business at her store, which is booming thanks to San Francisco's upcoming Summer of Love Festival.  But as the unofficial witchy consultant to the SFPD, she is pulled into yet another case.

A woman has jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge, and her apparent suicide may be connected to a suspicious botanica in the Mission District. When the police investigate the shop, they ask Lily to look into its mysterious owner, whose granddaughter also appears to be missing. As Lily searches for the truth, she finds herself confronted with a confounding mystery and some very powerful magic…

I am a believer in wishcraft and was totally drawn to the Wishcraft Mystery Series by Heather Blake. The fifth part, Some like it Witchy, was an absolute delight to read. It has that fun Bewitched type of innocent playfulness to it. The characters are a joy to read and since this was my first time reading the series, I can say you can safely jump in here but if you are like me you will want to go back and read the rest when you are finished!

Have a look at the book excerpt: Wishcrafter Darcy Merriweather can charm desires into reality, but as the national bestselling Wishcraft mysteries continue, she won’t be able to magically avoid trouble when death holds an open house….

The Enchanted Village is abuzz when the old Tavistock house finally goes up for sale. Darcy’s friend Curecrafter Cherise Goodwin is hoping she will have the winning bid on the home, but Darcy can’t shake the feeling that something bad is about to happen—and her magical instincts are usually right.

Sure enough, while Darcy and Cherise are looking at the property, they discover real estate agent Raina Gallagher stone-cold dead on the floor. Clutched in her hand is a gemstone amulet and, on the wall above her, a large red A. While Raina had no shortage of enemies, there’s also a dark legend about the house itself. To track down the killer, Darcy must unlock the secrets of both the deceased and the estate—and she’ll need to act fast, because revenge is a deal that never closes.…
