Floral Wonders Color Art For Everyone

I went for a drive with my husband today. In Kansas, at least the part where we live, you can't drive five minutes without seeing fields, farms and flowers. I love to watch the wild flowers as we drive past. There were lots of pretty white and yellow ones on the drive today. So when it was time for my mediation I was feeling floral.

I did tell you that since I don't have the kind of mind that can naturally quiet itself, I have been using coloring as a way to relax and with splendid results. The intricate details in adult coloring books are perfect for relaxing your mind and opening your creative channels. Did I mention before that these books have re-ignited my muse and I have started writing again? Seriously, I hadn't written a word creatively since my last book over ten years ago. But in the last few weeks I have been on fire with creativity, over 70 thousand words; and I credit coloring!

As you also know, I have been working the Color Art For Everyone series that I picked up at Leisure Arts. Since I was in such a blooming type of mood I pulled out the Floral Wonders, which has twenty four beautiful and whimsical floral designs. After picking one that reminded of the flowers I saw today, I settled in for a lovely relaxing evening.

This book, as with the other adult coloring books I have told you about from Leisure Arts, is printed on 8.5 inch x 10.875 inch sheets of premium paper. The paper really feels thick and sturdy. It is also printed on one side only and perforated for easy removal, so you can use whatever medium you wish (even the wetter ones) without worrying about it ruining the rest.

You know you need to relax! We all do, so head over and take some time to browse Leisure Arts' great selection and make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
