buddingSTEM

As a little girl, I wanted to be a paleontologist. I liked getting dirty, science, and a bunch of other things that aren't conventionally "girly". Now, as a mother of a little girl, I see so much of myself in her. She loves dinosaurs, toy cars and trains, and playing with her brother in the mud. Of course, just like my mother did for me, I encourage my daughter to explore the world around her and support all of her interests, "girly" or not.

When I found buddingSTEM, I knew I loved everything they stood for and that my daughter would too. It was founded by two mothers who also have daughters with interests in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Space, dinosaurs, and trains are not just for boys. Girls should be able to express their love for these things, just like little boys can, through their clothes. When I showed Bella her Apatosaurus Dress from buddingSTEM, she could not stop smiling and put it on instantly!

Her dress is a basic t-shirt style dress that is navy blue with pink print. It is really comfortable and perfect for a day full of digging up dinosaurs. BuddingSTEM offers a full line of clothing so there is a piece, or two, for every little girl. Be sure to check out the buddingSTEM website to see their full line and learn more. Also, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter so you never miss anything new!
