Goat Milk Stuff is a family run business centered around a fantastic line of soaps but offering a wide variety of other quality made items. They have their own small herd of Alpine dairy goats which means the milk will be free of chemicals and antibiotics; I love that! I think it’s fantastic that the whole family is involved and that they use the products themselves in their daily lives.

I have heard of goat milk products before but I had not had the opportunity to try them. I wish I had sooner I would have saved a fortune on lotions. Rather than using water as the base for the soap goat milk is used, adding extra, natural, moisturizing properties. Staying with the natural theme rather than using synthetic fragrances which can be rather irritating all of the soaps are fragranced with essential oils. I have always used a beauty bar for my face but tend to use body wash in general so it was a bit of a change for me to use a bar for everything. While it wasn’t as lathery as a body wash it did leave me feeling cleaner. I loved that there was no residue and it wasn’t hard to rinse, which can often be the case with extra moisturizing washes. It did leave a light pleasant scent that I noticed several times throughout the day- that is awesome. I tried two scents: Cool Citrus Basil & Clean Cotton. My husband loves the fresh clean scent of the Cool Citrus Basil and I adored the Clean Cotton, which reminded me of freshly washed laundry. Both scents were fresh and long lasting.
Car air-fresheners can be a bit overpowering, which is why I really liked the idea of using CLEFFS. They are the small pieces of soap that are left when the soap is unmolded and cut, which are placed in bags. In addition to hanging from your rearview mirror they can also be put in a drawer to give your clothes an always fresh scent. For those curious, CLEFFS stands for Colter’s Lovely Environmentally Friendly Fragrance Sacks.
I also tried one of the candles. It was one of my favorite Fall scents, pumpkin. As soon as I pulled the cap off the tin I could smell it! The first few times I used it I just left the cap off and set it on my desk letting the smell fill my work area. They are fantastically scented. I lit it and left it in the biggest room in the house and it gently filled the space with the warm inviting smell of pumpkin. I can’t wait to try more scents.
And then there was lip balm. If I’m being honest this was the first thing I opened, because I’m a bit of lip balm addict. I have a stick in my purse, desk, dresser and the bathroom because you never know when you may need some. My lips stay dry all year in spite of using balms several times a day. I used the Vanilla and it was yummy smelling. I was surprised by how long it lasted. Typically I have to apply and reapply but this lasted me all day. It had a nice smooth feel that was wasn’t heavy or greasy. Best of all was that it didn’t have and strange ingredients.
