As you might imagine, I keep a lot of fresh vegetables - being vegetarian lends itself to that. Storage can be an issue, because I really want to keep them fresh for as long as possible, and sometimes I forget which vegetable is supposed to be stored how.

Reuseit.com offers a wide variety of products to help. I've been using three of their products that totally take the guesswork out of food storage, with tidy, effective and user-friendly solutions.

The Berry Keepers by Progressive International, is a smaller container used to keep berries and delicate fruits. I find it a lovely size to hold grapes, strawberries, and at present, Roma tomatoes.

Fruit and Vegetable Keepers by Progressive International, stores a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. It’s perfect food storage solution for the majority of the common vegetables I keep on hand. At present I am using it to keep my carrots.

The Lettuce Keeper is awesome for heads of lettuce and cabbage, as the name suggests, but it is also perfect for other vegetables, and comes with a handy divider in case you have a few you need to store together as I have.

All of them have wonderful reminders on them that say which fruits and vegetables need the vent open or closed, and which ones need a little water in the bottom. It is great to have it printed right on the container since I am so forgetful. The vents open and close easily by twisting until at the desired setting.

They all also double as a colander by removing the bottom, which just snaps off and on like a typical storage lid. When you need to clean them, you can either wash then in the sink, or put on the top rack of the dishwasher. An extra bonus is that they look great! Just look how tidy and organized my fridge looks now! As a general rule, I tend to copy the supermarkets when it comes to whether to refrigerate or not - however despite that rule I like my tomatoes cold.
