Tractivity

As you may know, I am slowly working my way to my weight goal. Along the way I have found that sometimes I really need help with motivation, especially when it comes to exercise. In fact, sometimes just a gentle reminder is all it takes to get me to head out for a walk.

Tractivty, has been an awesome tool to help me stay motivated and it is so easy to use! You simply install a battery and attach a small sensor to your shoe laces and you're ready to go. The sensor records your activity through out the day for you to analyze later. I find that just noticing it on my shoe is enough of a reminder to take a walk, when possible, and a short 10 minute stretch when I just can’t get away - and as my analysis shows, each little break adds up.

I love that you don’t have to actively do anything to use it. It just stays on your shoe as you go about your day. To transfer your data from the sensor to your account is also super simple. You just insert the Tractivity USB device into your computer and the program will start automatically guiding you through what you need to do.

When you log into your account (which is easy to set up and has no fees!), you can instantly see your achievements in distance, steps, active time and calories burned. The interface is very user friendly, and you will intuitively be able to navigate to the area you want to be.

You can view your results in an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly chart. You can also use the website to monitor your weight loss and waist size, which can also be viewed in the same type of charts. I find this super helpful because I like to be able to go back and see my effort in action. I think it gives extra motivation to be able to see your effort and results side by side like that.

I love that this sensor goes beyond a typical pedometer in it's accuracy, by accounting for differences in your stride, so that you get the most accurate tracking. In addition to that, you have the community and activity interface that you typically wouldn't get with a pedometer. I’m really excited to be a part of the Tractivity community and look forward to being one of their success stories!

I love that this tracker is available in different packages that gives you not only versatility in how you use it, but it is also suited to all budgets. At $29.95 the Essentials bundle is fantastically priced! Please take some time to browse their site and see how Tractivity can help you reach your activity goals.
