The Mommy MD Guide Review & Giveaway

Kids go through so many challenging phases as they grow up. "Wouldn't it be nice if they came with a handbook!" is something you often hear parents saying when they are struggling or unsure about something. I know that I personally thought it on more than a few occasions.

Mommy MD Guides are the guidebooks many mothers have been wishing for. At present they have three guidebooks to help you along the journey of motherhood:  The Mommy MD Guide to Pregnancy and Birth, The Mommy MD Guide to Your Baby’s First Year, and The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years. All of which are loaded with great tips from experienced mothers who also happen to be doctors!

I've been reading  The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years, and I’m so impressed by the shear volume of useful information - information I wish I had when my little ones were toddlers! My daughter will have a toddler on her hands in a few short months and you can trust me she will be getting a copy of this fantastic guide.

It so much more than a book, it is a real resource. Inside there are more than 900 tips from 62 doctors- 900! It is broken up into seven parts for ease of use, and really laid out nicely making is very user friendly. The seven parts are: growth and development, food and nutrition, health and safety, bathing and grooming, emotional health and discipline, learning and fun, and sleep.

Part two, about food and nutrition, is a section I really could have used. I had such finicky eaters and was always worried what was normal and if it was okay if all she wanted to eat was peas for  a whole day!  So as you can imagine I loved the section on helping picky eaters.

If you are pregnant, or a mommy, or maybe you know someone who is, these guides are marvelous tools to help with all of the questions and uncertainties, so that you can relax and enjoy the joys of motherhood. I invite you to browse their website - which is also a wonderful resource in itself - and see which of these guides is right for you. Not meaning to leave out daddy, there is also a great site with resources Daddy MD Guides with great tips from doctors who are also dads.

You can also connect with them of facebook: Mommy MD Guides and Daddy MD Guides or twitter Mommy MD Guides and Daddy MD Guides.
