Whirl-a-Style Review & Giveaway

I really love the classic look of a nice bun or chignon. However, as much as I like it I am really no good at making one. In fact I don’t think I had ever made one on myself or someone with any success before finding the Whirl-a-Style.

The Whirl-a-Style is a really simple to use little hairstyling device that allows you to make perfect buns every time. It took me a few failed practice attempts but once I got the hang of it, it was easy rolling and my hair looks great up just like I thought it might!

All you have to do is pull your brushed out hair through the slit in the middle and roll your hair up toward the top of your head. Once you get it rolled you simply snap it closed in the opposite direction you rolled. Unless you have layered hair you won’t need pins at all. The rolled hair will hold itself in place even if you are running about with four dogs rough housing like I do.

If you want to make a bun on top of your head, you can add one step and put your hair in a ponytail at the place you want the bun and then just follow the other steps, rolling and clipping it into place. It is so quick that I think it would be perfect for dancers or gymnasts who need a fast style change between performances.

If you want an extra fancy touch they have Poppi Hair Jewelry you can easily add if you use either the Klincinz or Poppi Hair Elastic styles. The jewelry just snaps right on a the closure with a simple pop. And if you want to explore more styles you can view some fantastic tutorials on their Youtube channel.

If you love the look of an updo but are challenged like me and need a little help to get yours perfect take a moment to browse the Whirl-a-Style website and see which of their hairstyling devices would work best for you.

  1. getting a perfect "sock" bun look without having a huge doughnut in your hair sounds pretty fantastic. When I put my hair in a bun it just looks messy because I can't roll it around something and it ALWAYS uncoils because it is so long.

  2. Ive been using a hair tie or those metal thingies that can hurt if you put them in too far. This looks much more comfortable and that bun looks better than mine ever did :) I'd like to give it a whirl.

  17. I've used many hair gadgets and they just don't live up to the hype. I have VERY long hair and most hair styling things just won't work for the length of hair I have. This looks much more sturdy and looks like I would be able to actually use it!
