Alexa's Angels Review and Giveaway

I love a beautifully crafted piece of jewelry for a lot of reasons. I love the way it makes me feel when I wear it, and I love that it gets me noticed. I had no idea there was jewelry that could also lift my mood, and even inspire me - but there is.

Alexa’s Angels not only makes beautiful jewelry, but they are a beautiful company run by women, which offers truly uplifting and inspiring pieces of jewelry. They also create, find and support programs that are a benefit to women, and you can see the passion that goes into their fine pieces.

The presentation is fantastic too, making them perfect for gifts. I love when I get to open something and can tell thought went into the packaging. My necklace came wrapped in pretty pink tissue paper and was sealed with a gold sticker. Once opened my box was nestled in pink nesting, and inside the box the necklace was in an adorable little gold bag. Every step of the unwrapping was beautiful.

Even more beautiful was the charm itself! Not only is it beautiful, but the message and meaning seems to have been made personally for me. Whenever I feel it resting on me, or reach up and touch it, not only does it bring a smile to my face, but it warms my hearts as well when I think of what it means.

When I first became ill I had to change my whole path of life, and it was, and still is, very overwhelming at times. I had to let go of my type-A personality and tendencies, and let my heart guide me, which is something I was not accustomed to at all and still struggle with from time to time.

The reason for sharing that with you is so you may understand why this particular necklace moved me so much, and has the power to light up my day.

The charm is a compass with the typical four directions, but in the center there is a heart, and on the back it says, ’Let love guide you.’ That’s a powerful statement that has a lot of meaning for me.

The clasp is a really easy to use lobster claw clasp, and I like that it has a long extender area to fasten it to so that you can adjust the length. The chain itself is really lovely as you can see from the pictures.
