Make Freezer Pop's On Demand With Zoku

There is something special about relaxing on the porch with an ice pop on a hot summer day. I love ice pops of all flavors and styles. Of course since I don’t happen to have a deep freezer or a  lot of freezer space in general, I don’t usually have a great selection on hand. However, I have the neatest little pop maker to tell you about.

The Zoku Quick Pop Maker makes it not only possible, but easy to have any flavor or variety of pop you want, when you want it. I have the single pop maker - perfect for me and my husband - and it takes up hardly any space at all in my freezer.

Here is how easy it is to use: put the pop maker in your freezer for 24 hours, and then after it is frozen, you pour in whatever you want to make the pop from. It freezes the pop right there in 7 to 9 minutes! It can make up to three pops before it needs to be refrozen.

What this means is, we can have the type of pops we want. If my husband wants juice and I want a yogurt pop - no problem. When I want something different everyday, because we know I can be a little fickle, that’s no problem either. No more making a tray of pops and having to wait forever for them to freeze, only to have changed your mind about what you want.

What I think is most awesome, is that since I am making them, I know exactly what is going in them. You all know I have been on a mission to remove mystery ingredients from my diet, and this will help greatly. There will be no more mystery ingredients or excessive sugar in my freezer pops again, and that thrills me.

The first pop I made was a blend of tea and lemon juice - it was so lovely and fresh! Every afternoon I have some Greek yogurt with fruit for a snack, and was pleased that this afternoon I was able to make my yogurt into a yogurt pop with such ease. It really was a nice change.

The variety of what you can make is only limited by your imagination and if you need a little help with recipe ideas Zoku has a wonderful blog with adorable and creative ideas for everyday and holiday pop creations. You can also connect with Zoku on Facebook and Twitter.
