I really struggle with keeping my hair out of my face. I also tend to get headaches from ponytails and so I am always trying the next new headband, looking for one that really will stay in place. I especially need something for when I am working out, as nothing is as distracting for me, while in a great yoga pose, as having a shank of hair in my face.
I have been trying BIC Bands and I am really excited to share this great headband and company with you! The first thing that I love is that these are made with care, by hand! The care doesn't stop there either. Each month BIC Band donates from the sale of every band to a different charity. In fact BIC Band stands for Because I Can - Because they can, they raise funds for those who can’t. Isn't that awesome?
But I know you want to know how it performed when I performed. I must say I am so super happy to report that it stayed exactly where I put it no matter what I was doing. I love that it stays in place because of the great material on the back, rather than tightness. The back material feels like a plush velour type material and at the very bottom there is a little bit of elastic that gives it a good but not too tight fit.
They come in so many designs and colors that there is sure to be one, or ten, that you will just have to have! They have a selection in each of the styles: Minnie, Skinny, Thin, Thick and Sparkle. I was lucky enough to get to try three different sizes in a cute selection of styles.
The mini I tried was a lovely pinkish purple shade in sparkles. I love this one for everyday use. The skinny I tried is a silver sparkle design and is wonderful for yoga and light exercise. I also tried a thin in a purple and white chevron design and loved it for more active type workouts. None of them ever slipped and I think they would all work for every occasion and you should pick your width according to personal preference.
Also these are designed so well that instead of letting them get yucky you can either shower with them on after a workout or hand wash them to keep them looking fresh and beautiful. Please take a moment to browse the wonderful selection at BIC Bands and pick a few of your own!
