Nomadic State of Mind JC Sandals

Every once in a while I run across a pair of shoes that I just need to wear. Have you ever had that happen? I mean you look at a pair of shoes and think, ‘I need to feel those on my feet?’ That is exactly how I felt when I saw the JC Sandal from Nomadic State of Mind!

It’s made of rope! I have never seen anything like it before. It screams mellow easy kind of feeling and looks like the kind of shoes you would want to live in. In fact, the whole company has that mellow relaxed vibe that reminds me of my leisure time strolling the beach when I lived in Florida.

One of the first things I noticed when the sandals arrived was the playful tag with it’s warnings of how habit forming these shoes might be. Seriously after you order your pair make sure you read the tag, it’s hilarious.  These are made in the USA from 100 percent rope and  love and you can feel both when you put them on. 

I was worried for just a second because the rope seemed as if it might be scratchy but as soon as I slid them on I knew that was just silly talk. They are not at all scratchy against your feet, they are soft and extremely comfortable. The top rope design lays gently over your feet and looks absolutely adorable.

My husband seldom notices my shoes except to say something like, ’you have another pair, where are you going to put those?’ Not only did he notice these but he asked if he could try them on. I was totally not expecting what happened next. Not only did he put them on, but he liked them (that part I expected). I did not expect him to claim them as is own. 

In fact I said let me get a picture of you in them for the post and he let me get one before he turned to walk away with ‘his’ new shoes… as you can see the second picture is him leaving with the shoes still on. These are such seriously comfortable, relaxing and just plain cool shoes that I need to add another warning… if you have someone in your house with the same size shoes, never let them try on your Nomadic State of Mind shoes!
