Heat Storm Safe Efficient Heating & a Giveaway

It’s starting to get pretty chilly around here, especially at night. We have a big drafty farmhouse and no central heating. What that means is we space heat, and we are always looking for a better way to do that. I am really picky about the bathroom, I mean really, who wants a chill in the air when you are taking a long hot bath? Not me.

When I was given the chance to test the wall heater from Heat Storm I knew I wanted it in my bathroom. The first reason is that I have a rather large bathroom, so I needed a heater that would really put out some heat and do so efficiently. Plus it is a hanging heater, so I don’t have to worry about it being on the floor and getting wet. It would also be ideal for any room that doesn't have a lot of floor space.

It uses a regular 110 outlet, which is nice! So many heaters for larger rooms don’t use 110 and then you have the added expense of calling out an electrician. It was really easy to mount, two screws and done! It even comes with a level to help you do the job perfectly. Another awesome feature is that if you hang it over the outlet the cord tucks in neatly.

It stays cool to the touch and so does the wall, which is nice, while maintaining a balanced temperature above and below! Plus it is my very first remote controlled heater. If I get chilled while in the bath I can just grab the remote and with an easy click adjust the temperature.

It has a nice big display the shows the ambient temperature of the room. I like big displays because my eyes are not what they used to be. It also has filters for air purification, and they are the kind that last, so you don’t have to worry about replacing them every month.

I feel really great about using Heat Storm because they have made it safer than most heaters. Unlike most space heaters the element is not directly exposed to lint or other materials. The Tungsten or Carbon Fiber elements are enclosed inside of a quartz tube. And secondly, they enclose the quartz infrared elements inside of a steel chamber. You can see the heat chamber of the Wall Heater in the picture I included.

In addition to being safe it really couldn't be simpler to use. Plus being such a streamlined, stylish looking heater, it will go perfect with the décor wherever you are in need of some extra warmth. Please visit the Heat Storm website for full specifications and to see what other heating solutions they offer. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.

  5. What don't I love about this heater!! What is my favorite feature is the I do not have to have it on the floor where it can get knocked over. I like that it does not collect lint, and that it is remote control. I can control this heater from my bed!! I love this heater.
