Night Buddies

Bedtime in my house goes one of two ways. It will either go smoothly with both children laying down peacefully and falling asleep fast or I will have to wrestle both of them into their jammies and try to calm down screaming babies who keep trying to escape their beds. It is usually the latter. After a few attempts with other nighttime toys and stuffies, I found Night Buddies and bedtime has been a breeze since. I was sent Oliver the Orca from Night Buddies and my daughter loves him! She even totes him around during the day! She has found a new friend and he goes with her...everywhere!

As you can see, at bedtime instead of crying and yelling, she is smiling and ready for a good night's sleep! Oliver is super soft and his long, skinny shape is perfect for cuddling. Both of my children love him so much that is has been the cause of a few sibling fights. That being said, I will definitely be ordering a friend for my son! One of the features I really love is that the lights shut off automatically after 2 minutes. To turn them back on, your child just has to squeeze the tummy. This means the batteries won't die very fast! 

My children also tend to be on the destructive side so the fact that there is no access to the battery pack means they can't ruin their little friend. It also means changing the batteries is impossible without performing a mini-surgery, but you win some, you lose some. I would rather the batteries die eventually then wake up to a stuffing mess, personally. The light emitted also isn't very bright which is great! It is just bright enough to make my daughter feel safe but not keep her up and distracted.
