BoxyCharm - September

It is that wonderful time of the month again where my BoxyCharm box arrives and I get to try all sorts of awesome, new products! Just in case you forgot, BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on trend brands. Best part? A BoxyCharm box has a low cost of only $21, plus free shipping! This month the theme was Fashion Week Fabulous, so let's hop right in.

Since Tarte is one of my favorite makeup brands, you know I grabbed for the LipSurgence Lip Gloss in Tipsy ($19) first. It is a sheer coral color that doesn't have any shimmer. The color pay off is pretty good and the consistency is a little sticky, but not too much. I like that it is a little sticky because it tends to stick around a little longer than more watery lip glosses. This color is a perfect compliment to your everyday lipstick, or even on it's own!

Up next was the Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara ($19). I am really, really starting to like this brand. Everything I have tried from them has been a winner in my book and this mascara is no different. It gives me length, and even a little volume, without my lashes clumping or looking spidery. You can even layer this mascara for a more dramatic look without it getting clumpy. It is a total win!

The NCLA Nail Lacquer in Catwalk Queen ($16) was the next thing I pulled out of my box. It didn't translate well on camera, but this isn't a white polish. It is actually a really light nude/beige color. The polish is a good consistency and you can achieve opaque color in two coats which is really awesome for such a light color. It also has quite good hang-time and I got about 2-3 days of wear before I had a chip and had to repaint areas. I really like this polish and want to try other colors from NCLA.

I was really excited to see a perfume included in this months box. A 10mL bottle of Hello by Harvey Prince ($29) was included. It is described as having notes of meyer lemon, white grapefruit, and satsuma mandarin. This is a great scent. It is slighty sweet and fruity and totally feminine. It isn't an overpowering scent and is great for everyday wear. I will definitely be repurchasing this seeing as though it was been my go-to scent since I got it!

The last item included was something else I was really excited about: a Coastal Scents Go Palette in Beijing ($12.95). I have always wanted to try eyeshadow from Coastal Scents and this was a great way to get introduced to the brand. This palette is full of pinks, nudes, and a few darker shades for contrast. You could easily make an eyeshadow look for any occasion. The eyeshadows are pigmented and not powdery. I really like them and have used them quite a bit!

As always, I loved my BoxyCharm box! With a retail value of $95.95, $21 is an amazing cost to pay!! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products. Be sure to head over to their site to sign up and see past boxes. Also, follow BoxyCharm on FacebookInstagram and Twitter to never miss any news or promotions!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
