Afghans For All Reasons and Seasons from Leisure Arts

How are my crafters doing today? Are you working on anything fun, holiday gifts perhaps? I always seem to be working on at least two afghans at a time. And I really take great pleasure in making a unique and beautiful afghan to give as a comforting gift. As you know I like to make things that are super special and that recipient won't see everywhere. You know, something that they can treasure. That can really make finding the patterns I need challenging.

Well, it might have been really challenging if I didn't know about Leisure Arts. As you know from my prior posts, Leisure Arts always has exactly what I am looking for. The only really hard part is picking just a few titles at a time. I have a whole lot of holiday gifts to get on and off the hooks and Afghans For All Reasons and Seasons offered me a great amount of beautiful and unique patterns to pick from. In addition to patterns for this holiday season, they have something for every season as the title suggests and I even spotted this lovely for my fur baby.

There are 39 patterns to pick from, which makes this a super value! They are seriously lovely patterns too. I struggled to pick which ones I loved most to start with. One that really spoke to me was the Sophisticated Squares. It really reminded me of a quilt and I feel like this is a heirloom type of design. After I am done making gifts I will be making one of these for myself as well. I am also really taken by the beautiful texture of the pattern called Triple Play pictured below. I have browsed this book a number of times and already have ten of the patterns on my short list.

No matter what type of craft or pattern you are looking for, take some time to browse Leisure Arts' great selection and make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also, if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  2. Those afghans are so pretty, I love really thick afghans, I am not as crazy about the ones that are a little thin.

  3. Afghans are such pretty blankets. I like the cat next to the colorful blanket. I would love to make and Afghan someday!
