First off, I just want to mention that the little makeup bag that everything came in is not only adorable but super useful. You can never have too many makeup bags. They come in handy for so many things! The first product I pulled out was a Makeup by Cherimoya Lip & Eye Retractable Pencil in Latte ($3.99). Personally, I don't wear nude lipsticks, but this is an awesome little pencil and I will definitely use it on my eyes as a liner. Yay for multi-use products!
Up next was an Eco Lips Fair Trade Hemp Lip Balm in Vanilla ($3.49). After a little research, I found out that this lip balm is gluten free and has a lot of great, organic indregients. Sunflower Seed Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract, and Calendula Extract all come together in this delicious vanilla balm to keep your lips soft and feeling awesome all day. I love this balm!
The other Makeup by Cherimoya product included was a Lip Crayon in Fig ($8). This lip crayon is an awesome purple-pink color and glides on smoothly. The color has great hang time and even has a slight staining quality to it for even longer wear time. I really like this product and will probably purchase a few other colors from this brand. It is a great drugstore find!
A Jesse's Girl Nail Polish in the color Romeo ($3.99) was also included. It is a very pretty pink-coral color and goes on opaque in 2 coats. I got pretty good wear time out of this polish and I really like the color. The last item included was the monthly mix up. This month it was a Purlisse Daily Moisturizer ($18). I have tried this before and loved it so I was definitely happy to get more. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized and it doesn't irritate it.
The very last item is rather confusing. It is not included on the information pamphlet and I couldn't find anything on their website talking about any extra items being included. Maybe it fell into my box by accident? Either way, I really like it! It is a City Color Cosmetics Step It Up Lip Gloss ($3.00). The gloss features 4 different glosses and all of them have great pigmentation. Being able to have 4 different glosses in one, makes this a great purse staple, no matter what your lips happen to be wearing that day!
I really enjoyed the products in my Lip Monthly box. Plus with a retail value of $37.47 ($40.47 with the mystery gloss), $10 is an absolute steal! Be sure to head on over to Lip Monthly's website and sign up for yourself. Also, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to never miss any news!
