Lip Factory October 2014

Where are my lippy lovelies today?? Can you guess what time it is? That’s right! It's Lip Factory time again. For those who have been following a while, you know this, but for anyone new: Lip Factory is a monthly beauty box, with awesome, full size, trendy makeup and beauty products, that has a strong focus on lips, as the name suggests. My October box just arrived and I can't wait to dive in with and talk about what was inside.

This month was a really lippy month and I just love that! It started with a pack of two deVine lip shimmers ($8.95) There is so much to love about these. They feature Resveratrol, which is an antioxidant, Grape Seed Oil, another antioxidant, Linoleic Acid, a fatty acid, and, of course, Red Wine antioxidants, which help fight free radicals. Now, in addition to all that goodness, these are just fun! They come in a great range of wine themed shades with tasting notes on the packaging. The flavors/shades in my pack were pinot grigio and pinot noir. You really need to use these to appreciate just how soft and smooth they make your lips.

From Frost Cosmetics was an interesting product that is both lip gloss and lip stick ($15.99). I really loved that you get the best of both worlds with this, it was a lightweight, very shiny, sheer, yet fully covering lip product. It wasn't too sticky or cakey making it ideal for day or night wear and many looks. I could not find a shade name but it was a lovely deep burgundy type shade. In addition to being a unique two-in-one, it also has vitamin E, omega 3, and subtle flavor.

Also from Frost Cosmetics, was a fun makeup bag ($10.99). It is the perfect size to toss in a tote or overnight bag so you can take your basics and hit the road. It is zippered and has a nice liner fabric inside as well.I know I will get a lot of use from this - a girl can never have too many bags.

I have tried, and loved, Michael Marcus Lipstick ($24) before, so I was very happy to see this! It is a very smooth and creamy lipstick that is beautifully long wearing and well pigmented. The shade was called Desire and was a beautiful, lighter shade. I loved that I was able to get full coverage from a light shade and, as I mentioned, it has fabulous staying power.

OFRA, who you know I just adore, included an eyeliner in grapefruit ($13). As with all OFRA products, this one is top quality, easy to use, sharpen, and is suitable for sensitive eyes. It is made with a synthetic beeswax base that gives it it's smooth application and it's long lasting wear time.

There was a fabulous bonus in the box! From 29 Cosmetics, the Reserves Lip Stick ($25). This is an anti-aging lipstick with sun screen and grape seed antioxidants. It feels awesome on and looks lovely as well. The shade was Sparkling Shiraz which is a sheer raspberry with some shimmer. I am really taken by this shade and how moisturizing it is.

There was almost $100 worth of goodies in the October 2014 Lip Factory. The cost of this fabulous box is only $22/month for U.S. subscribers and no charge for shipping. If you are in Canada it is $26/month which includes a $4 shipping charge. Plus $32/month for all other international subscribers which includes $10 shipping charge.

Plus, you can really feel good about purchasing from them because they donate a percentage of each box sold to the Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. To sign up and get full details please visit the Lip Factory site. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
