The first item I grabbed for this month was the Royal Nature Paint Mousse Lip Lacquer ($24). The color I received was Hot Place and it is a super bright, hot pink. Since this is a mousse, it is a little thick and can be a little tricky to apply. The doe foot applicator that it comes with is quite big so I liked applying a little with that in the center of my lips and then I used my fingers and a lip brush to fill in the outer edges. This color is pretty awesome and stays put for a very long time. I really like this product!
The Very Six 6 Seconds Kissing Lip Gloss ($17) was the next item to catch my eye. This is an interesting product. You apply it, wait 6 to 10 seconds and then it tints your lips with a natural looking glow. I didn't notice much, if any, color with this but it is very good at moisturizing your lips and a good clear gloss is always a great thing to have handy in your purse!
Up next is the RiRe Tick Tock Lip Gloss ($18). I got the color Chiffon Coral which is more orange than coral, but still very pretty. The applicator is cool too. When you pull it out, there is no brush until you press the button on the lid and then the brush pops out. This is a very thick, opaque lip gloss. It is more of a liquid lipstick and I really like it. The staying power is awesome and it feels really good on your lips!
The first Cheek Room product I tried was the Lip Tint in Red ($10). This swatches as a very lightly tinted gloss but that is not the case! It tints your lips a very pretty, natural red and has great staying power. I was able to drink and eat without needing to reapply. I got 3 to 4 good hours of color with one application. Also, since it is a natural looking color, this is great for everyday wear and it doesn't dry your lips like most stains!
The other Cheek Room product was a Color Lips in Red ($10). This does look red in the tube but applies as a beautiful red-orange with gold shimmer. This color is absolutely beautiful! It also sticks around for a while so you don't have to reapply all the time. I really like both of the Cheek Room products that I got to try and will definitely be looking more into Cheek Room products.
The last item included was the Shara Shara Petit Friend Tint Balm in Crown Orange ($8). First off, the packaging is adorable! I also really like the separation between the tint and balm so you can control how much color is applied to your lips. This is a very moisturizing product and the color pay off is pretty good for a balm!
