Loot Crate - April 2015

It's that special geeky time of the month again where looters everywhere stalk their mailbox in anticipation. For any newcomers, or generally forgetful people, Loot Crate is quite possibly the most awesome subscription box out there. For only $13.37 (Get it? Haha!) a month, you can get one of these epic boxes for yourself. This month's theme is Fantasy! Fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres whether it is movies, books, or games. I have always loved dragons and they go hand in hand with magic, swords, and kings!

The first two items I pulled out where Game of Thrones themed. Now I know I may get some grief, but I haven't watched, or read Game of Thrones... YET! It is definitely next on my list but I am currently too entangled in too many other series' to add another. Luckily, I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed with GoT and she loved the magnet set and the USB flash drive. I am sure once I start to get into the series, I will regret giving these away however!

The Princess Bride is one of those movies that almost everyone has seen and I, personally, love it! The deck of playing cards included is awesome! Some of the cards even have characters and quotes on them which is so beyond cool. There was also a red bow tie with yellow dragons and 20-sided die on it from Black Tie Geek. This is great but was stolen by my daughter soon after I pulled it out. She looks better in it anyways!

A very cute Harry Potter Luggage Tag was also included. I passed this to by best friend because she is a huge Harry Potter fan. I had to make sure she didn't get lost on her way to Hogwarts, of course! An inflatable crown was the next item I pulled out and you know as soon as I got it blown up, my children were all over it. Of course, it is more fitting for my little prince and princess so I didn't mind! It's very cute and who doesn't want to be a king or a queen?

The last item included was a Dungeons & Dragons shirt. The shirt is a very bright red with an awesome, faded black D&D logo. I have played D&D a little more than a handful of times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, growing up in smaller towns, there weren't many D&D players to be found so my game experience is limited. This totally reminded me to get back into it though!

Loot Crate, as usual, was awesome this month! I know you are dying to have your own Loot Crates coming to your door so remember: All you have to do is sign up and for $13.37 you can have your very own. Sign up today though because boxes are limited and with stuff this epic, demand is high.

You can also stay up to date with fun extras and specials by following Loot Crate on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Very cool! I have lurking around, trying to decide on a subscription to check out. This one looks awesome! I love the tehemes! (And not a mascara to be found in it - another plus!) : )
