Loot Crate - August 2015

It's that special geeky time of the month again where looters everywhere stalk their mailbox in anticipation. For any newcomers, or generally forgetful people, Loot Crate is quite possibly the most awesome subscription box out there. For only $13.95 a month, you can get one of these epic boxes for yourself. This month's theme is Villains and just like last month's Heroes box, this is the second Villains box.

Batman is big in my house. My children love everything Batman (we even just redid our bathroom to be Batman themed) so when I saw the Loot Crate Exclusive Wooden Figure of The Joker by DC Collectibles, I knew there was going to be a knock-down, drag-out over it. This guy has two interchangeable heads and I love that his grin spells out "heehee" and "haha". Also, in case you are curious, my son won and this is now his treasure.

Up next was something that my boyfriend stole immediately. It is a Venom 16 ounce mug by Surreal Entertainment. This is an awesome mug and he uses it everyday in the morning to drink his coffee. I love the detail and how his infamous tongue swirls around the mug to become the handle. Some Looters got a Carnage mug instead of Venom which is just as cool!

Up next is a Captain America Hydra Pin by eFX Collectibles. This handcrafted replica was manufactured using the original digital files of the actual screen prop, which is pretty cool. I'm not a huge Captain America fan but this pin is pretty awesome!

The last item was something that I got really excited about; a Los Pollos Hermanos Apron by 50/Fifty. Breaking Bad is one of my favorite shows and Gus is one of those characters that you just love to hate. Of course, I am no money launderer, but I have enjoyed rocking this apron in my own kitchen!

Loot Crate, as usual, was awesome this month! I know you are dying to have your own Loot Crates coming to your door so remember: All you have to do is sign up and for $13.95 you can have your very own. Sign up today though because boxes are limited and with stuff this epic, demand is high. You can also stay up to date with fun extras and specials by following Loot Crate on Facebook and Twitter.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
