Beauty Box Five

Hello everyone! Just look what turned up in my mailbox! This awesome little box is from monthly subscription company, Beauty Box Five, that sends five great beauty product samples each month. I think this is so neat, as makeup can be expensive and it helps to test something out before you commit to the full size product. So, let’s see what’s inside!

Presentation is important and isn't it packaged so nicely? I love the the little drawstring bags, and often reuse them in making gift baskets for birthdays or holidays. Let’s open the bag and see what five fabulous things I get to try this month.

First up is Evie Evan Moisture Cream, retail $13.00 .5 oz. This mini size is airport friendly, and I like that because even on the go, your skin needs to be at it’s best. This is an awesome moisture cream which is designed to adjust to your needs. You can use it in winter or summer, on dry or oily skin, and get exactly the amount of moisture you need. I loved that it didn't leave my skin greasy, and I was able to use it under my foundation. It also goes a long way so you don’t have to use a lot - just a dot on my forehead and each check was enough to do my whole face.

Everyday Minerals Girl Friday Blush, retail $10.99 .17 oz. This is a loose powder blush, which adds a lovely light shade, sure to match many looks. It went on nicely and blended down to a shade I loved. You can see from the picture the shade range you can achieve. The upper portion is blended because I like a more subtle blush, and the bottom is just freshly applied and a fair amount brighter.

Blum Naturals Makeup Remover Towels, retail $3.99 10 towelettes.  I use face wipes every night to help make sure I get off the days makeup. I really like that these have organic grape seed extract, as well as other organic ingredients. They have a nice light scent and do a lovely job of getting off the days dirt while leaving my skin feeling refreshed and soft. The only down side to my regular wipes is these will sting your eyes so I wouldn't use them for eye makeup removal.

Lash Cards, retail $6.9 10 pack. These are awesome! I can’t count the times I have to redo my eyes because I get a bit of mascara on my lid or under my eye. My hands are not as steady as they used to be for sure. I love the idea and the results and will be purchasing these! That’s why I love these sample boxes - I had no idea these neat little cards even existed!

My absolute favorite is the H.Wood.Beauty Lip Shine, retail $16.00 .14 oz. It’s a lovely light pink shade that goes on smooth, not sticky and depending on how much you put on, can give you a light tint or a bit of shade. It has some last to it as well. What I really adore is the actual tube just look at how glamorous it is!

If you haven’t jumped into beauty subscription boxes yet, Beauty Box Five is great one to get your sampling feet wet on! They have a range of options from $12 a month, to $100 for a year. Please take some time and look over their site and see if Beauty Box Five is right for you.

Disclosure: I received a complementary Beauty Box Five box to facilitate this review. I was under no obligation to provide a positive review. My opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours.

  1. I am not a big make wearer but getting these boxes would be awesome because it would give me small amounts of different product that would last me forever! It would be a great way for my makeup not to go to waste because it got too old to use!
