Holiday Gift Guide - For Her - Cover Your Hair

I wear  headbands everyday. I have a few reasons, the main one is that I can’t stand to have my hair in my face, at all. Also since I got sick.. over ten years ago… my hair has thinned a lot right in the front center, just one more fun thing about chronic illness. I feel it is a lot less noticeable when it is pulled back and almost not noticeable when the headband is a wider one.

You all know I like to try and stay trendy and that means I need a lot of headbands to go with all of my different looks. One fantastic  resource for hair accessories is Cover Your Hair. They offer a huge selection that includes Hair Clips, Hair Accessories, Baby Hats, Baby Headbands, Snoods, Head Scarves, Headband Bandanas and a really adorable panda hat that I have put on my wish list. They literally have everything you could ever want to make your hair/head look fabulous!

I was lucky enough to receive a mixed box of four headband styles to try. There were  two hard styles and two soft styles in my box. The first was a hard thin metal headband in a medium brown shade with a lovely brown bow. I absolutely love bows so I was pretty thrilled with this one and since it is a neutral color it will go well with most anything.

The other hard  style was also a thin metal band this one black and on the side was an adorable turquoise spring flower. The flower is made with layers of a solid fabric and also a lace fabric. It is a nice size  too about the size of the palm of my hand, which looks wonderful on.

The Studded Narrow Army headband is a soft fabric  headband. It’s not really narrow but more a mid size  style at 2.5” so very nice for coverage. Mine was in blues and I just love the pretty army pattern which is accented with rhinestones to dress it up. I know I will get a lot of use out of this band.

The last band in my box and my favorite was  the Elegant Lace Wide Headband in maroon. I have a lot of maroon for fall and winter that this will go perfectly with. The material on this is a lovely lace and the width gives me total coverage of my thinning spot. It’s a very dainty and elegant look. I think I may need  to pick up more of this style in other shades.
