Holiday Gift Guide - For Her - Starlooks November Box

Hello ladies! I hope you are all feeling fabulous today. I know I am because I have been experimenting with my Starlooks Starbox! If you have been a reader for a while you will know that I have received several Starboxes and just love the Starlooks beauty products.

To refresh your memory, Starbox is monthly subscription box that Includes 3-4 full-size, pro quality, makeup and beauty products. It’s a great way to get to sample their line at a wonderful price ($15/month + shipping) and once you sample it, you will want more!

The Monaco 5 Shade Palette has a wonderful mix of daring and neutral shades, some are matte, some satin, and there are even a few shimmery ones! I love these on their own and they are also wonderful for blending together to make your own signature look. For the picture I included in this post I blended the three shimmery neutral shades to get a lovely golden brown with lots of sparkle, because you all know I love to sparkle. I think the red, green and gold has holiday party written all over it for me.

I have never used a pot eye liner before, in fact, I had never even heard of one. I have a pretty unsteady hand so I was really intimidated about using it too. I must say I honestly was blown away by how much I love it! Here is why:

You seem to, at least I seem to, have way more control using a brush to apply eyeliner. It's so much easier to get the top lid lined close to the lashes, which makes them look fuller. The best part is that once you get that perfect line, which you can get using the brush, it stays. It seriously stays. Not only did it stay all day with no need to reapply, I didn't take it off (I know don't judge I was sleepy) and the next morning I still had a perfectly lined eye - not even a smudge. The shade I received, Orion, is a simply gorgeous deep shade of jade. It says it can be used as a cream shadow too. I will certainly try that as well.

Also in the box was a slanted liner brush, good thing since I didn't have one and needed it to really get the liner on right. I have no idea how I manged this long without one. It gives me the best line I've ever achieved. I can't imagine not using it for eyeliner!

As a bonus surprise there was an eye/lip pencil sharpener. You divas know you can never have too many of them because every time you need one you never can find it!

If you have a beauty queen on your Christmas list there are several options for giving Starbox as a gift. A little beauty bird told me that the December box will have a 15 shade pro eyeshadow palatte, which is  a $99 value! When ordering you can do one month, three or six months, a year, or send them the extra special December Starbox! Head over to the Starlooks site today though because the deadline for ordering is 12/10 for the December box and you don't want to miss that.

You can also connect with Starlooks on Facebook and Youtube so you will never miss a beautiful thing.

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.
