Stylish Texture From Leisure Arts

Hello crafty cats! I have a wonderful pattern book to tell you about. This one is from my favorite online craft resource shop: Leisure Arts. If you have been crafting for any amount of time, I am sure you know who they are and if not, you need to check them out! They have everything, and I mean everything, you will need like patterns, pattern books and even supplies.

The book I want to tell you about today is called Stylish Texture and it is filled with eight of the most lovely textured patterns! I am always amazed by just how much texture can add to an afghan and these patterns are proof - they really are stunning.

As is usually the case, the cover photo is what caught my eye and I knew that pattern, On the Water, would be one that I made very soon. However, when I opened the book and saw the other seven, I was struck with the lovely problem of having to decide which of these awesome patterns to make first! Restful Measures is  a top contender with it’s beautiful textures and The One Color Afghan is an instant classic.

The instructions are all very easy to follow and all of the patterns are at the intermediate level so you will want to have some experience crocheting before you take on these lovely patterns. That being said, I am not an old pro and I think with these instructions, I am ready to attempt one! You will have to check back to see my progress. I can’t wait to dive in! Head over to Leisure Arts today and see what you are inspired to create.

Make sure you also connect with Leisure Arts on Facebook and Twitter so that you never miss a special or new pattern! Also if you sign up for their knitting or crochet newsletters, you get a free pattern on Fridays!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I think I really like Textured patterns. They look pretty and really elegant. I like the Textured afghan on the chair. It would be a great color and texture to create.
