BoxyCharm - January 2015

It is that wonderful time of the month again where my BoxyCharm box arrives and I get to try out all sorts of awesome, new products! Just in case you forgot, BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on-trend brands. Best part? A BoxyCharm box has a low cost of only $21, plus free shipping! This month the theme was Celebrate In Style, so let's hop right in.

I love Tarte, so you know the first item I pulled out of my box was the Maracuja Bronzing Serum ($47). As you guys may have noticed, I am as pale as they come so me and bronze do not mix unless I want to look like an Oompa-Loompa. That being said, I passed this on to one of my more bronze friends and she loves it. She said that it evened out her skin tone and provided a subtle, natural looking glow and built up color over time.

Up next was a sheet of Pur-lisse Skin Sparkle Flash Tattoos ($12). I didn't use these, but my daughter loved them. I could see these being a great addition to a party outfit as well. A Mirabella Face Prime ($29) is next. This is a colorless primer that has Vitamin E in it. It nourishes your skin while also providing a smooth foundation for your makeup and minimizes the look of pores. I really like this primer!

A Beauty For Real True Color Lip Cream in Always There ($22) was included too. This is a great your 'lips but better' color and the packaging is awesome. The tube has a mirror on it and the wand has a light so you can apply it anywhere. The light is surprisingly bright and is activated by a button on the top of the lid. The cream itself is easy to apply and has a great texture. Not too sticky, but not too slick and the perfect amount of shine!

The last item was a Beauty For Real The Perfect Lip Pencil ($14). It is a brownish mauve color and I can see this complementing so many different complexions and lip colors. This lip liner would work under almost any lip product and not only help it last longer but help enhance the natural beauty of your lips. This is a great product that you can use everyday! I love it!

As always, I loved my BoxyCharm box! With a retail value of $124, $21 is an amazing cost to pay!! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products. Be sure to head over to their site to sign up and see past boxes. Also, follow BoxyCharm on FacebookInstagram and Twitter to never miss any news or promotions!

Disclosure: I may receive products in exchange for an honest review. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Cute box but $21 seems high if you weren't crazy for everything. I canceled my Ipsy, it was just too much junk. I only get Julep now, the polishes are worth it.
