BoxyCharm - May 2015

It is that wonderful time of the month again where my BoxyCharm box arrives and I get to try out all sorts of awesome, new products! Just in case you forgot, BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that sends out full-size and luxury-size samples of high end and on-trend brands. Best part? This box is packed full of bright, bold, beautiful products to help you escape your comfort zone and explore your bold side!

The first product in this month's box was a ModelCo Bronze in Shimmer ($22). This pressed bronzer is full of gold shimmer to help reflect light and give you a beautiful bronzed glow. We all know by now that I am almost as pale as they come so this product is definitely too dark for me but it looks great on the friend that I passed it too. It helped her natural tan glow and she looked absolutely stunning wearing it!

Up next is a Lip Bar Lipstick in the shade Purple Rain ($20). Lip Bar Lipsticks are made with Vitamin E, shea butter, and avocado oil so they are wonderfully smooth and moisturizing. Also, take a moment and look at the packaging! I absolutely love the caged look to the tube! Yet again, being so pale, this color was way too much for me but I can see it being really pretty on people with darker complexions. It also wears for quite a while and has decent staining qualities. It even stained my hand after I swatched it which is quite impressive. I love staining products because they wear longer!

The next two products were from Bodyography: the Essential Brow Trio ($19) and Brow Brush ($19). The Brow Trio has three matte powders which make it perfect for almost everyone. It would also be used to create a three shade eyeshadow look in a pinch! Gotta love versatility! The brow brush is double ended and has a small, angled brush on one end and a mascara wand on the other. You can use it to tame and fill in unruly brows or even separate clumped together eyelashes!

The last product this month was a Lauren B Beauty Nail Polish in Sunset Blvd ($18). I love when they include Lauren B nail polishes! They are always so pretty and they wear great with little chipping! This color is a coral red that is just gorgeous and perfect for Spring. I have been wearing this nonstop! 

As always, I loved my BoxyCharm box! With a retail value of $98, $21 is an amazing cost to pay!! It is a great value and awesome way to try out new beauty products.
